HOW DOES IT WORK?
BIAB's formula combines the strength of builder gel with the convenience of gel polish, but its key feature is its self-levelling, multi-layer application.
Preparation: The technician first prepares the nails by cleaning, shaping, and lightly buffing the surface to ensure proper adhesion.
Base layer: A thin layer of BIAB is applied, which acts as the primer and base coat. This layer is then cured under a UV or LED lamp.
Builder layer: One or more thicker layers of BIAB are then applied. The technician uses a "bead" of gel and strategically builds the product to create an "apex," or the highest point of the nail, to reinforce the stress areas. The gel is self-levelling, smoothing out naturally for an even surface.
Curing: Each layer is cured under a lamp until the product hardens.
Refinement: The nails are then filed and shaped to create the desired look.
Finishing: A final gel polish colour or top coat can be applied for a glossy finish.
